Landing

The body is descending. Sleep never arrives. Time stretches, while consciousness drifts between reality, memory, and dreams. Nightmares return again and again. I try to reshape a single descent into a moving image. As the body rediscovers gravity, landing may not be an ending, but the beginning of something else.
